The design concept for this space is rooted in the notion of 'movement.' When viewers engage with video content, they naturally anticipate motion. However, what occurs when that expectation is unmet? What transpires between one 'PLAY' and the next? Does it resemble a static image or a single frame? This interior experiment explores these questions.
The space itself becomes the 'PLAY' button, activated by people's motion. When still, the space pauses; when in motion, it comes to life. This design aligns with our client's video experience branding. Rectangles represent individuals, circular zones mirror a camera roll, and triangular spaces evoke the 'PLAY' button.
The project involved adding new floors to a global high-tech company's existing offices In Tel Aviv high-rise building. The aim was to create distinct neighborhoods with unique design identities. Inspired by the client's desire to incorporate natural elements, each neighborhood had its own theme. The first neighborhood embraced the qualities of a desert with earthen textures and materials. The second neighborhood focused on lush vegetation, featuring greenhouse references and a simple, neutral palette. The final neighborhood drew inspiration from a rustic cabin, incorporating natural, geometric elements. Custom-made ceilings, finishes, millwork, and furniture were designed to reflect these identities. The project showcased the use of natural materials like wood, plaster, stone, terracotta, and foliage, bringing nature into the work environment.
Creating a unique new stream of work spaces that will continue the ROOMS brand while embracing the culture and identity of Hassan - Arafe, Tel Aviv. Reflecting the transformation of the area throughout the years; emptying, demolishing, unifying and replanning. The inspiration for the design stems from the tactical play of chess. The design will attempt to employ a grid base, shapes, colour, texture and artistic detailing and in doing so transforming each room into a game. The concept will reflect throughout the space by using bold textures ,patterns, furnishing and artworks to evoke a particular experience. A place that creates a strong bond between movement, people and businesses.
Creating a unique space for work that will continue the Isrotel agenda, being site-specific, while embracing the culture and identity of the city of Tel Aviv - Reflecting the international and local community. The inspiration for the design stems from the different styles of Tel Aviv's Architecture, Taking elements from traditional Bauhaus and the international style in Tel Aviv and combine with elements from the hospitality world and hotel appeal. The concept will reflect throughout the space using bold textures, patterns, furnishing, and artworks to evoke a unique experience—a place of movement, people, and businesses.
