Gordonia is an exclusive hidden gem that redefines the Eilat experience, designed as a nuanced, inward-looking sanctuary. Situated on the city's historic former airport site, the hotel seamlessly bridges Eilat’s rich past with forward-looking modern architecture.
This dialogue between old and new is beautifully echoed in the spatial design, inspired by the local landscape where the rugged desert meets the tranquil ocean.
By intertwining raw textures with smooth finishes, the palette achieves a delicate balance of strength and tranquility, inviting guests to completely disconnect just moments from the vibrant city center and beach.
The new headquarters for BIG Shopping Centers and Africa Israel is conceived less as an office than as a narrative environment, unfolding through light, material contrast, and movement. Designed as a shared home for two leading real-estate groups, the interior prioritizes experience over efficiency. Arrival forms the project’s core: a generous entrance volume connects departments, softens hierarchies, and draws distant landscape views inward. Light and dark materials add depth without excess. Embedded lounge areas introduce intimacy within openness. The result is a balanced workplace, where architecture supports everyday life and long-term relevance for people, work, and change over time.
RD&A designed a campus for Cato Networks, a global leader in cloud-based security, located in Tel Aviv, Israel. The headquarters span six floors and nearly 20,000 sqm in one of the city’s newest high-rises.
The design concept was inspired by "entropy," representing a system's natural tendency towards equilibrium. The circulation within each floor serves as a ribbon, balancing the various programs that hug the building's core and glass perimeter. Curved and orthogonal vernaculars are unified through corridors' architecture, lighting, and materials. This design creates a seamless campus reflecting the company’s identity of a single, unifying platform.
The Shomrat Hazorea showroom reflects the brand's legacy through a concept that celebrates balance—structure meets spontaneity, and perfection embraces imperfection. Inspired by a monumental grid, the design uses the building's structural columns to shape the spatial flow. Materials echo this grid, with exposed wall partitions offering glimpses of the framework, creating a raw yet refined aesthetic. By preserving the authenticity of each material, the design bridges the timeless craftsmanship of Shomrat Hazorea with modern architectural expression. The result is a dynamic space where material purity and contemporary design harmoniously showcase the brand’s enduring influence and innovative spirit.
The design concept for this space is rooted in the notion of 'movement.' When viewers engage with video content, they naturally anticipate motion. However, what occurs when that expectation is unmet? What transpires between one 'PLAY' and the next? Does it resemble a static image or a single frame? This interior experiment explores these questions.
The space itself becomes the 'PLAY' button, activated by people's motion. When still, the space pauses; when in motion, it comes to life. This design aligns with our client's video experience branding. Rectangles represent individuals, circular zones mirror a camera roll, and triangular spaces evoke the 'PLAY' button.
