Montel Perol Villa

4000 sqm
Private
Marche di Fermo, Italy
Completed 2015

Located in the romantic landscape of great Tuscany the preserved villa owned by an Israeli family function as the ideal private vacation resort. Architect Ilana David, a partner at RD&A, transformed an old stable into a vacation home, maintaining its original style. The villa, set among wheat and sunflower fields, retains the yellowish facade of the original building. A flat, toucan-style pool in front of the villa celebrates the surrounding landscape. Overcoming design challenges and strict preservation laws, the team reassembled the original stone facades and refurbished original details like window handles and iron rings. Interiors feature terracotta stone flooring, wooden beams, and a toucan-style design with white, brown, and pinkish tones.
