An unconventional space for an unconventional client was the starting point for the design of the offices of Gross, Colen, and Brenner. The brief called for a space that exists “in between” reflecting the firm’s identity as a fusion of traditional and unconventional approaches. Materiality played a central role, drawing inspiration from the cultural and culinary leaders the firm represents. Marble and stone were paired with contemporary elements and lighting to create a balanced tension between old and new. The result is a law office unlike any other, emphasizing hospitality over trade.
