RD&A designed the 3,500 sqm Akamai office in the ToHa Tower in Tel Aviv, with a concept of duality inspired by the company's technology, which improved digital and internet performance and security. The office layout provides privacy to the sensitive work conducted, while also promoting community and collaboration. RD&A created a streamlined design using materiality, lighting, graphics, custom carpentry, and reflection to replicate forms and shapes in different ways to give the impression of experiencing the same element in two different ways. The challenge was to create a space that met the needs of the Tel Aviv office employees while reflecting Akamai's global identity, which typically uses an open space layout.
